Psychoeducational &
Neuropsychological Testing

Psychoeducational evaluations assess cognitive abilities, learning, behavior, and social-emotional functioning.

Assessments can provide diagnostic clarity and can help students, parents, teachers, and therapists better understand how a child learns, relates to others, and will be supported for optimal academic and social success.

Core testing usually examines the following areas

Cognitive Abilities
A child’s foundational verbal and nonverbal abilities.

Academic Skills
How well a child has learned and retained academic information and their ability to communicate it effectively.

Social and Emotional development
A child’s current internal emotional state, how they express or conceal their emotions, how they manage or struggle to manage emotions, and how these factors impact their relationships.

If required or requested, memory, attention and executive functioning can also be assessed.
